. Scope: The project includes the removal of the existing roof down to structural slab and installation of new EPDM roofing system at The Station. It also include the demolition of the existing roofs down to structural slab at Roof Areas A, B, C, E, F, G and H and installation of new EPDM roofing system at these Roof Areass at the Student Union. At the Station, the existing cooling towers and associated supports will be demolished. In addition, the existing roof hatch will be removed and replaced with a new roof hatch. At the Station, (4) four new drain pairings will be added with new stormwater and overflow drain system installed to run through the building and connect to the existing below grade stormwater system. At both buildings, existing equipment will be removed and reinstalled and their respective equipment curbs will be removed and replaced with raised, insulated equipment curbs. At both buildings, walking pads will be placed. At the Student Union, limited piping runs will be upsized to meet current codes. At the Student Union, new access ladders will be installed for access to the Penthouses. At the Student Union, the majority of the metal panels at the South Penthouse will be removed and replaced with new metal panels as an additive alternate. At both buildings, code minimum fall protection will be included in the project as part of the Base Bid. At both buildings, a comprehensive fall protection system will be included as an additive alternate. At both buildings, a lightning protection system will be included as an additive alternate. At the Student Union, work at Roof Areas, E, F and G will be included as an additive alternate. The scope includes all work contained within the Contract Documents. B. MBE/WBE/SDVE Goals: MBE 10%, WBE 10% & SDVE 3% Note: Only MBE/WBE firms certified by a State of Missouri public entity, and SDVE(s) meeting the requirements of Section 34.074, RSMo, and 1 CSR 30-5.010, as of the date of bid opening, can be used to satisfy the MBE/WBE/SDVE participation goals for this Project Question Deadline 06/04/2025 No bidder shall be entitled to rely on oral interpretations as to the meaning of the plans and specifications or the acceptability of alternate products, materials, form or type of construction.
