The Work will require breaking, crushing, and screening processed asphalt reject on site located at the City of Golden's recycle yard off Golden Gate Canyon Road (Just East of Catamount Drive). Refer to the Attached Project Manual for more detailed Information, which includes the Summary of Work and Crushing Requirements, along with constraints on the Contractor's Use of the Premises. The City of Golden, Colorado, has implemented an innovative sustainability initiative focused on recycling demolished concrete and asphalt pavements on an annual basement. Through this program, the City crushes materials from road and infrastructure projects into reusable aggregate, which is then incorporated into new construction and maintenance efforts. By repurposing these materials locally, Golden reduces landfill waste, minimizes the environmental impact of transporting raw materials, and supports its broader goals of environmental stewardship and resource conservation. This effort reflects the City's commitment to sustainable development and efficient use of public resources. The Work for the selected contractor, will require breaking, crushing, and screening processed asphalt reject on site located at the City of Golden's recycle yard off Golden Gate Canyon Road (Just East of Catamount Drive).
