Site work and paving for a road / highway in Golden, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Genesee Fire Protection District ("Owner"), a Title 32 special district, is seeking proposals for construction of a two-lane, natural surface road gated at both ends from the Genesee Water and Sanitation District parking lot south to Colorado Highway 74. The purpose of this road will be to provide a route to be used only in times of emergency to (1) permit access by emergency/firefighting vehicles entering Genesee, and (2) serve as a supplemental evacuation route from Genesee. In addition, the road will also be used for training exercises. G. William Quinby, PE, is acting as the Owner's Representative. The Owner reserves the right to act in its best interest and may terminate, modify or suspend the process, reject any or all submittals, modify the terms and conditions of this selection process and/or waive informalities of any submission.
