Site work and paving for a road / highway in South Bend, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This contract provides for the City-wide pavement preservation of approximately 10 total miles of various roadways throughout the City. Improvements include, but are not specifically limited to, pulverization, grading, subgrade repair, bituminous surface treatments, pavement markings, traffic control and other related work items. The Work shall be substantially complete within 60 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, South Bend, Washington. All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, postal money order, cashiers check, or Proposal bond payable to the "City of South Bend" and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Proposal amount. Financing of the Project has been provided by City of South Bend, Washington and the Washington State Transportation Improvement Board. The City of South Bend expressly reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive minor irregularities or informalities in any Proposal.
