Such other items or details, not mentioned above, that are required by the Drawings and Technical Specifications Plans, City of Ceres Standard Specifications and Typical Details, and the Special Conditions shall be performed, placed, constructed, or installed. The project is located on Hatch Road. Bids are required for the entire work described herein. Any questions submitted after the deadline will not be answered. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or Bid Bond in the amount of 10 percent of the total bid price, payable to the City of Ceres. CONTRACTOR'S LICENSE CLASSIFICATION: The Contractor shall possess a valid Class A Contractors License at the time of submitting bids. The City reserves the right after opening bids to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality (non-responsiveness) in a bid, or to make award to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder (as determined per the Instructions to Bidders) and reject all other bids, as it may best serve the interest of the City. As a condition of award, the successful bidder shall furnish a payment bond and a performance bond on the City's forms each in the full amount of the contract price. The successful bidder will also be required to submit proof of insurance for work involved.
