The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Work for the North Trunk Line (NTL) 2&3 sewer trunkline replacement project generally consists of furnishing, delivering, constructing, installing, connecting, and testing approximately 11,000 linear feet (LF) of 24-inch and 30-inch gravity sanitary sewer line, and approximately 3,000 LF of 12-inch sanitary sewer force main. The gravity sewer line will be competitively bid as PVC and Fiberglass Reinforced Pipe (FRP). Force main piping shall be AWWA C900. Other Work includes: a. Installation of new sewer main and force main. b. Includes import of select common fill for backfill within streets. c. Installation of new maintenance holes and a diversion structure. d. Tie-ins between new sewer pipeline and the existing sanitary sewer system. e. Tie-ins at the Alkire Lift Station (LS). f. Connections of sewer services. g. Abandonment of replaced sections of sewer line and maintenance holes. h. One open-cut crossing of Church Ditch Water Authority (CDWA). i. One trenchless crossing of Church Ditch Water Authority (CDWA). j. One trenchless crossing of existing culvert. k. Cathodic protection of steel casing. l. Removal and replacement of asphalt pavement and pavement markings. m. Removal and replacement of curb and gutter. n. Sodding, landscape, and fence restoration. o. Coordination with property owners, the public, and residents. p. Coordination with utility owners, utility protection, and minor utility adjustment as required for completion of the work. q. Maintenance of traffic. r. Erosion and sediment control. s. Preparation of As-builts. t. Use of an arborist for tree protection. u. All permitting, potholing, excavating, trench shoring, dewatering, surface restoration, testing, and bypass pumping. v. and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents.
