DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, insurance, and services to construct the refurbishment or replacement of electrical panelboards ,distribution boards, switchboards, and motor control centers in five (5) different buildings on the UC Davis campus: Jungerman Hall, Mann Laboratory, Sprocket Building, Voohies Hall, and Young Hall. The work tasks include the coordination of equipment procurement and installation, electrical work, minor repairs of building elements and finishes, and the povision of temporary power facilities as needed to support critical research equipment during construction. California Wage Determination: 2025-1 Estimated Construction Cost of this project is $5,600,000.00 (Base Bid) Contract Time: 425 days. Every effort will be made to ensure that all persons have equal access to contracts and other business opportunities with the University within the limits imposed by law or University policy. Each Bidder may be required to show evidence of its equal employment opportunity policy. The successful Bidder and its subcontractors will be required to follow the nondiscrimination requirements set forth in the Bidding Documents and to pay prevailing wage at the location of the work.
