**As of July 1, 2025 , this project has been cancelled due to no bids received and no plan to rebid. This solicitation is for the furnishing and installation of two incinerators for the Louisiana Department of Public Safety (DPS) located at Joint Emergency Services Training Center (JESTC),1400 W Irene Rd, Zachary, LA 70791. The job is to be performed in accordance with the enclosed scope of work and specifications. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary to install two incinerators for the Louisiana Department of Public Safety (DPS) For any bid submitted in the amount of $50,000 or more, a bid security (insurance company, bank money order, certified check, or cashier's check) must be included with the bidder's submission in the sum of 5% of the amount bid (including base bid and additive alternates, if any) and shall become the property of the agency in the event the contract and bond are not executed within the time set forth in the bid solicitation. Failure to do so shall eliminate your bid from consideration. The State Reserves the Right to Reject the Response of the Bidder, Proposer, or Contractor if This Certification is Subsequently Determined to Be False, and to Terminate Any Contract Awarded Based on Such a False Response or if the Certification is No Longer True. Progress payments: The following payment schedule shall apply: For contracts with a completion date of more than 30calendar days: On or about the first day of each month, 90% of the value based on the Contract Price of labor and materials incorporated in the work and of materials suitably stored at the site thereof up to the first day of that month, as estimated by the Agency/Owner, less the aggregate of previous payments and upon substantial completion of the entire work, a sum sufficient to increase the total payment to 90% of the Contract Price. For contracts with a completion date of 30 calendar days or less: Upon satisfactory completion of the work, 90% of the Contract Price. Project Completion: The Contractor shall perform fully, entirely, and in satisfactory manner the work contracted, within the number of calendar days stipulated in the proposal and the contract. Time will be assessed against the Contractor beginning with the date of the notice to proceed.
