The Public Utility District No. 1 of Lewis County (District) requires a contractor to provide labor, materials, and equipment to install Service Fiber Drops from the nearest OFDC to NID with Optional ONT Installation on a unit priced basis in the Bunker Creek area of Lewis County to provide high speed broadband services. Work includes the use of District provided materials as well as that supplied by the Contractor. This project utilizes state and federal grant funds and specific requirements will apply to bid responses. The awarded contractor shall be registered or licensed as required by the laws of the State of Washington, including but not limited to RCW 39.06 and RCW 18.27. A five percent (5%) bid guarantee in form of a cashier's check, money order, or surety bond must be submitted with a bid. Failure to comply with any part of the solicitation instructions may result in rejection of the bid, quotation or proposal as non-responsive. The District reserves the right at its sole discretion to reject all bids, quotations or proposals received without penalty and not to issue a contract. Washington state prevailing wages are required to be paid for the work performed on this project and are subject to the higher of the prevailing state or federal wage rates (if applicable due to other federal funds are in the project).
