Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Benton, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
Demolition of structure at 105-107 Main Street, Benton, PA 17815. The work includes but is not limited to all labor, materials, tools, oversight and permits required to demolish the property in its entirety. This project requires asbestos abatement and the installation of erosion and sediment controls. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond with a corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, in accordance with the project specifications in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount. A Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. Questions may be submitted through online on or before on or before 5:00 PM Tuesday, June 17, 2025. Responses will be provided via online to all registered parties. In addition to the Equal Employment requirements of Executive Order 11246 regarding discrimination, the Awarded Contractor must establish a 3% goal for female participation and a 5% goal for minority participation in his/her aggregate on-site construction workforce for contracts in excess of $10,000. CCHRA reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions or to waive any informalities in bidding and to withhold award for a period of sixty days.
