Site work and paving for a civil project in Strawberry, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Project Description: The work is located within the Redwood Highway Frontage Road Utility Undergrounding District in Strawberry. The project includes horizontal directional drilling of dual conduits beneath Highway 101, joint trench excavation, dewatering, shoring, installation of conduit and utility substructures, minor concrete replacement, asphalt milling, and placement of hot mix asphalt (HMA). All conduit and substructures shall be completed in accordance with project requirements and utility company specifications and shall be ready to accept utility installations upon project completion. The contractor shall also prepare and submit all documentation necessary to obtain and comply with encroachment permits from Caltrans and the City of Mill Valley. A Bid Bond, cash, certified check, or cashier's check, in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount payable to the County of Marin shall accompany the Proposal. Questions concerning the Bid must be emailed to Rachel Calvert at Rachel.Calvert@MarinCounty.gov no later than 5 p.m. on Friday June 20, 2025. Inquiries or questions based on alleged patent ambiguity of the plans, specifications or estimate must be communicated as a bidder inquiry prior to bid opening. The Board of Supervisors of the County of Marin reserves the right to reject any or all bids and the right to waive any irregularities.
