SCOPE: The City of Hallandale Beach (City) is seeking bids from all interested and qualified Firms (Proposer) who can perform telemetry system upgrade services for use by the City of Hallandale Beach Public Works Department. The work to be performed includes electrical, and Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) work associated with replacing existing Remote Telemetry Units (RTU) and control panels with new control panels at the respective sites inclusive of, but not limited to: 1. Fabricate new telemetry panel or control panel (depending on the site) with all devices, components, and panel layout as shown and specified. 2. Factory test RTU and control panels, witnessed by a Professional Engineer (PE), prior to shipment. 3. Disconnect existing conduit and wiring from the telemetry panel or control panel (depending on the site) and remove and demolish existing panel at each site. 4. Install new telemetry panel or control panel (depending on the site) at each site and reinstall existing conduit and wiring to the new panel. 5. Install new field instruments at each site. 6. Install new conduit and wiring between new panel and new field devices at each site. 7. Test and startup the new telemetry panel or control panel (depending on the site) and new instrumentation at each site jointly with OWNER assigned programmer. BID BOND: As per Procurement Code Section 23-12 (2) Security Bonds: Each proposer must provide with the submission a Proposal Guarantee/Bond in the form of Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) payable to the City of Hallandale Beach. These funds are not cashed. These funds are retained guaranteeing the firm submitting the proposal will not withdraw the proposal for such period of time as the Commission provides a Resolution for award of contract. PERFORMANCE AND LABOR MATERIALS PAYMENT BOND: Proof of 100% of total contract bonding capacity must be submitted with solicitation is required.
