The City of Hallandale Beach (City) is seeking bids from all interested and qualified Firms (Proposer) who can provide lift station improvement services for use by the City of Hallandale Beach Public Works Department .The work to be performed includes site, civil, mechanical, structural and electrical work associated with the construction of the Lift Station # 1 - Egret Triplex Pump Station Improvements Project in the City of Hallandale Beach. The City of Hallandale Beach (City) is seeking bids from all interested and qualified Firms (Proposer) who can provide lift station improvement services for use by the City of Hallandale Beach Public Works Department. This project was previously awarded and work had commenced. The contract was subsequently terminated. Exhibit E contains revisions to the original plans contained in Exhibit A - Exhibit D. Any revisions contained in Exhibit E are the most current plans. The work to be performed includes site, civil, mechanical, structural and electrical work associated with the construction of the Lift Station# 1 - Egret Triplex Pump Station Improvements Project in the City of Hallandale Beach. This project consists of but is not limited to the following. The demolition and removal of an emergency generator and its steel enclosure, concrete slabs, three existing sanitary sewer pumps, associated piping, supports, electrical equipment, generators, floor slabs, control panels, and electrical conduit within the existing pump station, conversion of the existing pump station bottom floor from a wet-pit dry-pit design to a larger wet well design. The project includes the installation of three new submersible wastewater pumps, associated discharge piping, structural support beams, blocking in existing wall openings, doors, hatches, wall vents, installing six (6) new pump access hatches, to seal the structure for the odor control system, new electrical controls, interior and exterior lighting, cementitious liner on all pump station interior surfaces, 12-inch and 18-inch pump discharge piping, plug valves, flow meter assembly, connection into the existing 18-inch force main, removal, replacement, and relocation of an existing 16-inch force main, installing new 30-inch diameter gravity sewer pipe from the existing terminal man hole into proposed outside drop manhole followed by a 10 foot diameter wet well with a rail mounted Channel Monster grinder assembly and installation of a 30-inch plug valve before connection into pump station inlet. The scope will include an odor control degasifier assembly, an emergency generator, a stainless-steel powder coated gantry crane with stainless steel electric trolley hoist, civil site work including a drainage swale, site sodding, fencing and an asphalt parking lot as shown on the Contract Drawings Each proposer must provide with the submission a Proposal Guarantee/Bond in the form of Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%)payable to the City of Hallandale Beach. These funds are not cashed. These funds are retained guaranteeing the firm submitting the proposal will not withdraw the proposal for such period of time as the Commission provides a Resolution for award of contract. PERFORMANCE AND LABORMATERIALS PAYMENT BOND: Proof of 100% of total contract bonding capacity must be submitted with solicitation is required.
