Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Hallandale Beach, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.

The work includes site, civil, mechanical, structural, and electrical tasks associated with the Lift Station #9 Rehabilitation Project in the City of Hallandale Beach. It involves removal of two existing sanitary sewer pumps, associated piping, valves, fittings, supports, and electrical items including the existing diesel generator from the lift station, and replacement of the existing wet well top and valve vault. The work also requires installation of a new meter vault, flow meter, three new submersible wastewater pumps with associated piping, valves, fittings, supports, electrical items including a variable frequency drive, reconnection of new piping to the force main, installation of a new diesel generator, drum scrubber, driveway, and fence, as detailed in the drawings. The project includes tasks such as survey, locating and protecting existing utilities, coordination with the City, utility owners and agencies, transformer replacement coordination, traffic maintenance, dewatering if necessary, bypass pumping, maintaining continuous sanitary service and property access, preparation and submittal of shop and record drawings, testing, and site restoration. All proposal documents must be submitted electronically via DemandStar. Late submittals are not considered. Bidders must meet Minimum Qualification Requirements to be deemed responsive and provide a Proposal Guarantee/Bid Bond of 5%. Proof of 100% bonding capacity is required at submission. Awarded contractors must submit performance and labor materials payment bonds no later than 15 days after notification of award. Communication with City staff regarding the solicitation is prohibited; all requests for information are to be submitted as specified in the instructions.
