The City of Staunton, Virginia (hereinafter "City") is issuing this Request For Proposals (hereinafter "RFP") from parties (hereinafter "Offerors") to provide to the City proposals to provide administrative and planning services and the creation of a 5-Year Consolidated Plan (hereinafter "Con Plan"), for the City of Staunton's Community Development Block Grant Entitlement Program, The City is the recipient of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds as a principal city of a Metropolitan Statistical Area. The CDBG Program is authorized under Title 1 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1975, as amended. The primary objective is the development of viable urban communities, achieved by providing decent housing, a suitable living environment, and expanded economic opportunities, principally for Low - and Moderate - Income (LMI) persons. The City is the recipient of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds as a principal city of a Metropolitan Statistical Area. The CDBG Program is authorized under Title 1 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1975, as amended.
