The scope of work is generally for constructing curb ramps, installing RRFBs and improving crossings at Village Road/Silverwood Drive and Cowell Road/Quail Court in the City of Concord. Work shall include traffic control, pedestrian detours, staging of the work, water pollution control program, clearing and grubbing, curb and gutter, sidewalk, asphalt concrete removal, hot mix asphalt, pavement marking removal and installation; and all other work shown on the Plans and as specified in the Project Manual and all other work as specified in these Special Conditions, Technical Provisions, and as shown on the Plans or as directed by the Engineer. The bid security must guarantee that within ten days after City issues the Notice of Potential Award, the successful bidder will execute the Contract and submit the payment and performance bonds, insurance certificates and endorsements, and any other submittals required by the Contract Documents and as specified in the Notice of Potential Award. Location. The Project is located at the intersections of Village Road/Silverwood Drive and Cowell Road/Quail Court. Engineer's Estimate: $162,000 Time for Final Completion. The Project must be fully completed within 20 working days (weekends and holidays excluded) from the start date set forth in the Notice to Proceed. City anticipates that the Work will begin in September 2025 but the anticipated start date is provided solely for convenience and is neither certain nor binding. License. This Project requires a valid California contractor's license for the following classifications: Class "A," General Engineering Contractor or Class "C-8," Concrete Contractor.
