The scope of this project is for roadway improvements to two Township roadways, Gross Rd and Old Orchard Dr. Gross Rd improvements include approximately 1,200 SY of base repair and 3,969 SY of double oil and chip application. Old Orchard Dr improvements involve approximately 1,920 SY of full width roadway milling (including disposal) and 1,590 SY of 1.5 wearing course along with base repair at the cull da sac The successful bidder will be required to pay the online Program fee of 1/3% of the contract value award. There is a minimum award fee of $150.00 and a maximum of $6,000.00 Proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%). Proposals shall be effective for 90 days from the date of opening. The successful low bidder will be required to provide a Performance Bond equal to one hundred percent (100%), a Labour and Material Payment Bond equal to one hundred percent (100%), a workers compensation affidavit, and a certificate of insurance naming UPPER POTTSGROVE TOWNSHIP and LTL Consultants, Ltd. as additional insureds, all within 20 days after the contract is awarded. A Maintenance Bond equal to fifteen percent (15%) of contract price and extending for a period of 18 months after substantial completion is required.
