Online sealed proposals are requested for the supply of chemicals to the Pottstown Wastewater and Water Plants. Wastewater Treatment Plant Chemicals include Sodium Bisulfite, Liquid Chlorine, and Sodium Hypochlorite. Water Treatment Chemicals include Activated Carbon (by super sac and by bag), Sodium Bisulfite, Sulfuric Acid, Liquid Chlorine, Sodium Hypochlorite, and Poly Aluminum Chloride. Proposals must be submitted online via the designated platform, and a bid bond, certified check, or cashier’s check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid must be included as bid security. Documents must be submitted as instructed, and bids may not be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the opening time. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any part thereof in its best interest. Bidders are required to provide the submitting individual's first and last name, title, email, and phone number as part of the submission process.
