The project provides for the retrofit of two existing sewer lift stations, North Lift Station (2 Fallon Dr.) and Gateway Lift Station (400 S. 35th Ave) with two new variable speed pumps and on-site generator power at each lift station location. Work will include removing existing lift station wetwell pumping components, sensors, piping and pipe fittings, removing electrical panel components, installing City-provided pumps, pump components, floats, piping, pipe fittings, level sensors, electrical panel components, conducting bypass pumping, supplying installing new site secure fencing, on-site backup generator power and ATS at each lift station location, retaining wall, traffic barrier, and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in surety bond, cash, certified check, or cashier's check, surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful Bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of West Richland. Only properly executed proposals submitted on the forms furnished by the City of West Richland will be accepted. The City of West Richland reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities, to accept any bid deemed to be responsive in the best interest of the City of West Richland and reserves the right to readvertise for new proposals.
