Site work for a water / sewer project in Soperton, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Second Street corrugated metal pipe crossing replacement and discharge pipe replacement from New Second Street box to existing W. Outlaw Avenue box. The project consists of grade, drain, base and pave between Old Diary Road (Womack Avenue) and Louisiana Avenue. (The project scope is shown on the plans/cross-sections/maps as prepared by Construction Materials Services, Inc.) Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid amount. The Bid Bond may be in the form of a surety issued bond or cashier's check made payable to City of Soperton. The Bid Bond shall be forfeited to City of Soperton as liquidated damages if the bidder fails to execute the Contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within fifteen (15) days after being notified that he has been awarded the Contract. Each bid must be submitted in a SEALED ENVELOPE, addressed to the OWNER. Each sealed envelope, containing a bid, must be plainly marked on the outside of envelope: 2024 LRA, 2025 LRA & 2025 LMIG - Second Street Drainage Improvements If bid is forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the Bid must be enclosed in a separate mailing envelope to the attention of the OWNER at the address given above. Bids may not be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the time and date set for closing, except as allowed by O.C.G.A. City of Soperton reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any technicalities.
