Project A: W. Alabama Ave The project consists of 405 feet of Roadway Repair, HMA Resurfacing, Striping and Shoulder Dressing Beginning at Eastman Road and Ending at Williams Street. Project B: W. Canady Ave The project consists of 1,693 feet of Roadway Repair, HMA Resurfacing and Striping Beginning at Eastman Road and Ending at Fowler Street. Project C: Forest Ave The project consists of 1,976 feet of Roadway Repair, HMA Resurfacing, and Striping Beginning at Jennings Lane and Ending at Dead End on Forest Ave. (The project scope is shown on the plans/cross-sections/maps as prepared by Construction Materials Services, Inc.) Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid amount. The Bid Bond may be in the form of a surety issued bond or cashier' s check made payable to City of Soperton. The Bid Bond shall be forfeited to City of Soperton as liquidated damages if the bidder fails to execute the Contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within fifteen (15) days after being notified that he has been awarded the Contract. Surety and insurance companies must have an AM Best rating of A-6 or greater, be listed in the Federal Registry of Companies holding Certificates of Authority and Acceptable Sureties on Federal Bonds, be licensed by the Georgia Insurance Department and the Georgia Secretary of State to do business in the State of Georgia. Each bid must be submitted in a SEALED ENVELOPE, addressed to the OWNER. City of Soperton reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any technicalities.
