Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Soperton, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

Site clearing and grading of approximately 0.99 acres including an upgraded tennis court, new basketball courts, new parking lot, new sidewalk, new horseshoe toss area, new bag toss pavilion and remodeled social pavilion. The new tennis court/pickleball courts and basketball courts will be equipped with new lighting. All best management practices will be expected to be implemented for the completion of this work. Time allotted for completion shall be 180 consecutive calendar days. All Bidders must have a State of Georgia General Contractors License and must employ a state Utility Manager certificate holder who will have oversight of all the work . All proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond drawn in favor of the City of Soperton, Georgia in the amount of at least 5% of the lump sum bid for the complete work ; such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded the contract, will promptlyenter into a contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bond as provided by law and approved by the Attorney for the City of Soperton, Georgia. Each bond shall be equal to 100% of the contract amount. The Bid Bond shall be forfeited to the City of Soperton, Georgia as liquidated damages if the Bidder fails to execute the contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within 10 day safter being notified that he has been awarded the contract . Upon request, one( 1) printed full or reduced size set of drawings is available at no additional charge. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
