St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton is looking to hire a qualified General Contractor to complete the Work required to repair a loading dock located at our Fontbonne building of our Charlton Campus. The Work includes but not limited to; performing the removal, disposal, and replacement of the existing loading dock, including the concrete slab-on-grade, concrete wall, footing, and steps, as detailed in the drawings. This includes the installation of new bumpers and a prefabricated steel stairway with handrail. The Contractor is responsible for the removal, disposal, and replacement of the existing concrete ramp slab-on-grade, and the existing catch basin with a new trench drain and concrete encasement. Must supply all labour, materials, and equipment necessary to apply the exterior coating to the perimeter concrete walls. This includes cleaning (high pressure washing) and substrate preparation. Responsible for all clean up of debris, equipment and materials from the site. Performance security (electronic bond (e-bond)/ bond, irrevocable letter of credit, bank draft or certified cheque accepted): 100% of the Procurement Value. Maintenance security (electronic bond (e-bond)/ bond, irrevocable letter of credit, bank draft or certified cheque accepted): 100% of the Procurement Value.
