This Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is an invitation by Hamilton Health Sciences Corporation ("HHSC") to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Water Treatment Chemicals and Services as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the "Deliverables"). HHSC is soliciting proposals for a proponent capable of performing the supply of chemicals, monitoring of the complete water treatment for boiler feed, chiller, cooling, heat and cooling towers as detailed herein for the Facility Management and Co-Generation Department. The services will be provided as defined in accordance with the terms of the Deliverables. HHSC is looking to accomplish the following for this RFP: Maintain the high quality of the water standards in clean heat transfer surfaces which are substantially free of scale, sludge, deposits settling at the bottom of the equipment, corrosion and pitting controls, biological disease prevention, and services currently in place on all equipment and systems; Maintain the consistency and reliability to ensure 100% uptime; Provide monthly service visits, both scheduled and unscheduled; Provide evidence that the water treatment program meets the established and proven standards, as requested and needed; Respond to emergency calls same day but no longer than twenty four (24) hours; Provide consulting services on an as needed basis; Identify potential efficiencies and cost savings without compromising the current water standards; Provide on-site analysis of the equipment and laboratory services; Annual inspections; Reporting; and Provide training to HHSC staff as required.
