A brief summary of the Work involved in this Contract is for the supply and installation of full traffic signal underground infrastructure including electrical components, roadway restoration, curb and sidewalk construction/reconstruction, catch basins/maintenance holes, pole bases, pavement markings and all other associated works, as detailed in the contract drawings. Where there is conflict between the scope of work outlined here and the contract drawings, the contract drawings will be followed: - Section A - General items for road/sidewalk reconstruction and associated works. - Section B - Installation of a new traffic signal at the intersection of Old Ancaster Road and Ogilvie - Section C - Modernization of the existing traffic signals and traffic control infrastructure at the intersection of Mohawk Road and Upper Gage Avenue. - Section D - Upgrades to the existing traffic signals and traffic control infrastructure at the intersection of Hester Street and Upper James Street. - Section E - Upgrades to the existing traffic signal at Ottawa Street and Cannon Street. - Section F - Upgrading the existing Intersection Pedestrian Signal (IPS) at Kent Street and Aberdeen Avenue. - Section G - Installation of a raised crosswalk and a Type D Pedestrian Crossover (PXO) on the west leg of Bridlewood Drive and Hillsdale Avenue. - Section H - Installation of a Type B Pedestrian Crossover (PXO) at the east leg of Llyomin Avenue and Jerseyville Road. - Section I - Installation of a Type D Pedestrian Crossover (PXO) at the west leg of the intersection of Carpenter Avenue and Eastdale Boulevard. - Section J - Implementation of safety and accessibility improvements at the intersection of James Street and York Boulevard. - Section K - Installation of AODA-compliant tactile surfaces at the intersection of Upper Paradise Road and Kittyhawk Drive. - Section L - Installation of a new traffic signal at Regional Road 56 and Kirk Road. - Section M - Installation of an Intersection Pedestrian Signal (IPS) at the west leg of the intersection of Stone Church Road and Juliebeth Drive. - Section N - Installation of pavement markings along Beach Boulevard. - Section O - Installation of Type D Pedestrian Crossover (PXO) along Beach Boulevard at Van Wagners - Section P - Installation of pavement markings, and Type D Pedestrian Crossover (PXO) along Beach Boulevard at Pandora. - Section Q - Installation of pavement markings, and Type D Pedestrian Crossover (PXO) along Beach Boulevard at Lakeside. - Section R - Installation of pavement markings, and Type D Pedestrian Crossover (PXO) along Beach Boulevard at Knapsman.
