Renovation of a theater / auditorium in Newport News, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a theater / auditorium.

The Ella Fitzgerald Theater currently is a 276-seat venue. The seats are original to the building's current use as Downing-Gross Cultural Arts Center, which opened in 2008. They have experienced wear and tear over nearly two decades. Downing-Gross Cultural Arts Center seeks to improve the patron experience with upgraded seating, more flexibility for access needs, and improved visibility during performances. The purpose of this Request for Quotes (RFQ) is to solicit quotes to furnish and install approximately 271 upholstered opera theatre seats and aisle lighting for the Ella Fitzgerald Theater at Downing-Gross Cultural Arts Center, and remove and dispose of the currently installed seating and lighting.
