Renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Newport News, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 18,360-square-foot fitness / recreation center.

The purpose of this contract is to install an All Access Control System and a 42 Camera CCTV System for security purposes and to enable after-hours access capabilities. DAFI 34-114 3.3.1.2 states that the Fitness and Sports manager have a monitoring system (cameras or a duress alarm if a camera is not appropriate) installed in areas of the facility where staff or contractors do not have direct line of sight. There are currently no existing security cameras at Anderson Field House. The purpose of this requirement is to install an All Access Control System and a 42 Camera CCTV System for security purposes and to enable after-hours access capabilities at Anderson Fild House at fort eustis. Please review the Statement of Requirement in the attachments for more information. While the statement of requirement does specify certain brand name equpment, "or equal" substitutes will be considered for award. FAR 52.232-18 Availability of Funds. Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
