The City of Port Orchard (CITY) is soliciting Statements of Qualification from qualified A&E Professional Services Consultants (CONSULTANT) with expertise in street design, sanitary sewer design, and construction phase consulting. An intertie needs to be constructed to connect two water systems operated by the city to provide source redundancy and decrease reliance on supply from and adjacent water purveyor. The interties are envisioned to move water between the 580-pressure zone to the 390-pressure zones. Work includes a water main extension, pressure reducing valve stations, and pumps. Other work may include stream augmentation at nearby creeks. A location for the pump station will need to be selected and a permanent easement may be needed Any questions regarding this project should be directed to Chris Hammer, at bidsandproposals@portorchardwa.gov The City of Port Orchard reserves the right to retain the services of the successful firm for any subsequent phases associated with this project Construction is scheduled as early as the winter of 2025/ 2026 The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
