Improvements of Sidney Road including new sidewalk, curb and gutter, asphalt pavement, sanitary sewer force main, drainage, RRFB crossing, pavement markings, signage, and landscaping. These improvements are allotted 100 working days. Alternate bid schedules for pavement repair on Prospect Street and Sidney Avenue. These improvements are allotted up to 25 working days as specified in Section 1-08.5 of the Special Provisions. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a cash deposit, certified or cashier s check, postal money order, or surety bond made payable to the City of Port Orchard, for a sum not less than five percent (5%)of the bid amount, including sales tax. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into a contract and furnish satisfactory payment and performance bonds within the time stated in the Specifications, the bid security shall be forfeited to the City of Port Orchard.
