The City Of Taft is soliciting services from contractors experienced in pavement rehabilitation and maintenance of streets. The term of this contract will be on an on-call basis for the term of 3 years. The City and its representatives shall be the sole judge of the contractor's ability to meet the requirements set forth. The City and its representatives reserve the right to reject any or all proposals and/or waive any informality as may be deemed to be held in the City of Taft best interest. All labor shall be paid prevailing wage as per public works project code and certified payroll records will be required for all labor performed by the contractor. Contractor must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. All responses submitted shall, at a minimum, include the following information: 1. Name of firm, address and telephone number. 2. Proof of current City of Taft business license. 3. Proof of Class A or C-12 Contractors License. 4. A list of five (5) municipal references that could verify previous or ongoing projects being completed by the responding firm. 5. A list of municipal work completed in the past (1) year. The list should be brief but should include a contact list for the municipality.
