General work description: In unincorporated Yuba County, on Loma Rica Road from SR20 to Fruitland Road and on South Beale Road from SR65 to the Beale AFB Gate, perform pavement repairs, overlay, and striping of the existing roadways. General work description: The work in general consists of road improvements, traffic striping, and markings, on Loma Rica Road from State Route 20 to Fruitland Road and on South Beale Road from Bradshaw Road to the entrance at Beale Air Force Base. Other such items or details not mentioned above that are required by the standard specifications or these special provisions shall be performed, placed, constructed or installed . The estimated cost of the project is $4,728,489.00 Complete the work within 95 working days. This project is federally and locally funded. DBE Goal is 19 percent (19%) Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified cashier's check, or bid bond, in the amount of 10 percent of the total bid price, payable to Yuba County Department of Public Works, as a guarantee that the bidder, if its bid is accepted, will promptly execute the Agreement. The bidder shall guarantee the total bid price for a period of 60 days from the date of the bid opening. The County reserves the right after opening the bids to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in a bid or bid submittal, and to award to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, as it may best serve the interests of the County. The contract shall be executed by the successful bidder and shall be returned, together with the Payment Bond, Performance Bond and Certificate(s) of Insurance to the County so that it is received within 8 working days after the bidder has received the contract for execution. Failure to do so shall be just cause for forfeiture of the proposal guaranty.
