Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Macungie, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
**As of September 18th, 2025, the project was awarded to Heim Construction Co. Inc, with an awarded amount of $74,240.85.** The work includes but is not limited to all labor, materials, tools, oversight and permits required for the driveway apron, curb and sidewalk removal section along Locust Street as the base bid. Also included in the base bid is the removal and replacement of downspouts and curbline painting at the intersection. The alternate bid includes curb and sidewalk removal of the section along Locust Street and the area of curbline painting at the intersection. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond with a corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, in accordance with the project specifications in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount. A Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. Prevailing Wage Rates shall apply. No pre-bid meeting will be held for this project. Questions may be submitted through online on or before 3:00 PM on Friday, July 11, 2025. Responses will be provided via online to all registered parties. The Macungie Borough reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions or to waive any informalities in bidding and to withhold award for a period of sixty days.
