Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The project for which construc tion engineeringservices are to be provided involves road way improvements along Riford Road between Cres cent Boulevardand St. Charles Road (approx i mately 0.55 miles). Theconstruc tion contract scope of work consists of pavement patch ing and resur fac ing with HMA surface andbinder course, combi na tion concrete curb and gutter,PCC side walk, detectable warn ings, pave ment markings, detec tor loop replace ment, main te nance of traffic, restora tion, and all other appur tenant work. Theproject is currently targeted to be let by the IllinoisDepart ment of Trans porta tion on November 7, 2025.The Village empha sizes that this is a Federal AidProject which has qual i fied for Surface TransportationProgram Fund ing for construc tion of the proposedimprove ments as well as construc tion engineeringservices. All services to be rendered for the assignment shall be in full confor mance with standardrequire ments and proce dures for Federal Aid projects. The Village is only accept ing elec tronic proposals forthis RFP.
