The County will not accept any paper-based bid submissions via email, fax, courier, mail, or in-person delivery. Any paper-based bids delivered will be returned to the sender unopened. Bids must be submitted in the manner designated therein and required by the specifications and instructions located on the electronic procurement platform. Bids must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check in the amount of 10% of the amount bid, to a maximum of $20,000.00 and shall be made payable to the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Burlington. PERFORMANCE GUARANTEE REQUIREMENTS: within ten (10) days of the date of the Notice of Intent to Award a contract issued to the bidder, the bidder must submit a performance bond in an amount equal to 25% of the contract amount to the County of Burlington. The Performance Bond must be drawn to the Board of Commissioners of the County of Burlington in an amount equal to the contract amount. It must be provided in substantially the format as found at N.J.S.A. 2A: 44-147, a copy of which is included in the bid specifications. No Performance Payment Bond will be accepted by the Board of Commissioners unless there is attached thereto a Surety Disclosure Statement and Certification in substantially the form provided in the bid specifications.
