The project will remove and replace the sidewalk on the Northside of Manitou Ave. from Mayfair Ave. to Old Man's Trail with a concrete 10' Multi-modal trail with bulb outs, landscaping (irrigation), erosion control, drainage, removal of trees, drainage, and a set of timber stairs on the Westend to connect to the Creekwalk trail next to Fountain Creek. Creekwalk Trail 4 is a continuation of the Creekwalk Trail system that extends to the East. The City of Manitou Springs is seeking qualifications from qualified professional engineering firms who can support construction management, inspection and material testing services for transportation related professional services involving the construction of Creekwalk Trail and to otherwise assist the City in completing the Creekwalk Trail improvement projects. The project will be out to bid July 8th. Construction is expected to begin Sept. 2nd through end of October, 2025. The Contractor is allowed to work Monday through Thursday 7am to 7pm and Friday 7am-3pm. Weekend work is not expected but may be required.
