The City of Elk Horn, Iowa is soliciting bids for the 2025 Controlled Discharge Lagoon Improvements project, estimated at $947,600 with a 431-day completion timeline ending November 20, 2026. Sealed bids are due July 29, 2025 at 2:00 PM at City Hall (2027 Washington Street). The project, located west of Highway 173 southwest of city limits, includes bio-solids removal, erosion stone installation around four cells, valve replacement, new effluent control structure, and associated work.
