A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The Project includes the following Work: Bid - The project consists of the renovation and expansion of the existing Norfolk Police Department building located in Norfolk, Nebraska. The completed facility will be a 2-story structure totaling approximately 31,155 square feet including 3,440 square feet of garage space. The project also includes site improvements such as sidewalk, approaches and parking lot. The buildings occupancy classification is mixed use, non-separated Group B; Group I-3, and Group S-2. The construction Type is II-B Non-Combustible. The building expansion is anticipated to be Phase I and will function as temporary space for the relocation of some personnel during Phase II renovation of the existing police building. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders. The check(s) or bond(s) shall be made payable to the City of Norfolk, as security that the bidder(s) to whom the award(s) are made will enter into contract to build the improvements bid upon and furnish the required bonds and insurance. The City of Norfolk reserves the right to accept any bid which it deems most advantageous to the Owner, and to reject any or all bids submitted and to hold as many bids as it desires for consideration for a period of sixty days after the bids are open.
