Of the 29 lift stations owned by the City, 8 lift stations were identified needing modifications in order to standardize the portable generator connection to the manual transfer switch, as well as to ensure safe and reliable backup power to the lift stations in the event of a power outage. The portable generators owned by the City were also identified as needing modifications for proper connections to the proposed onsite connection receptacles. PROJECT DESCRIPTION The objective of this project is to: o Fabricate racks on existing portable generators, install plugs on the end of cables, and provide/install cable from generator output breaker to the new disconnects, with strain reliefs and lugs as necessary o Add and/or replace existing portable generator connection receptacles at 8 different lift stations throughout the City o Add and/or replace existing manual transfer switches at 8 different lift stations throughout the City o Add and/or replace existing main disconnect switches at 8 different lift stations throughout the City
