Site work for a civil project in Nolensville, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.

The Town of Nolensville will accept sealed bids for the construction of the ARP CULVERT REPLACEMENT PACKAGE 1 to be Funded in Part Under the TDEC American Rescue Plan (ARP) Grant, including the following sites: o Norfolk Lane Drainage Improvements - (TDEC ARP SWIG Project "SW-PDC-3, Site ID NV-001") o Clover croft Road at Old Clover croft Road Drainage Improvements - (TDEC ARP SWIG Project "SW-PDC-3, Site ID NV-005") o Whitney Park Drive Culvert Replacement - (TDEC ARP SWIG Project "SW-PDC-3, Site ID NV-006"). This Invitation to Bid is subject to the instructions, conditions, specifications, addenda, and other elements, including those incorporated by reference. All Bidders must be licensed Contractors as required by the "CONTRACTOR'S LICENSING ACT OF 1976," and as passed by the 89th General Assembly of the State of Tennessee. Furthermore, the Contractor should have the necessary licensing classifications as listed in the Rules of Tennessee Board for Licensing General Contractors-Chapter 0680-1. The outside of the bid envelope must include the bid title, bid opening date, bidder's name, license number, expiration date and license classification of the contractors applying to bid for the prime contract. Failure of a bidder to comply with the listing requirement voids the bid and the bid may not be opened. Subcontractors must be declared on the outside of the sealed envelope and licensing information must be included on the envelope for subcontractors. Bids submitted by fax or e-mail will not be accepted or considered for award. All bidders must satisfy themselves by personal examination of the location of the proposed work, the accuracy of the estimate of the quantities of the work to be done by examination of the Specifications and requirements of the work, and shall not at any time after the submission of a bid dispute or complain of such estimate nor assert that there was any misunderstanding in regard to the nature or amount of work to be done. The Town shall not be responsible for bidders' errors and misjudgments, nor any information on local conditions or general laws and regulations. The Documents and Specifications contain the provisions required for the construction of the project. No information obtained from any officer, agent, or employee of the Town on any such matters shall in any way affect the risk or obligation assumed by the Contractor or relieve Contractor from fulfilling any of the conditions of the contract. A Bid Bond in a commercially standard form from a Surety Company acceptable to the Town, payable to the Town of Nolensville with power of attorney must accompany each bid for five (5) percent of the total amount of the Base Bid. As soon as the bid prices have been compared, the Town will return the Bid Bond of all except the three lowest responsible bidders. When the contract is awarded, the bonds of the unsuccessful bidder(s) will be returned. The Documents and Specifications contain the provisions required for the construction of the project. No information obtained from any officer, agent, or employee of the Town on any such matters shall in any way affect the risk or obligation assumed by the Contractor or relieve Contractor from fulfilling any of the conditions of the contract. Performance-Payment Bond for 100% of the total Base Bid amount with Power of Attorney. Failure of a bidder to comply with the listing requirements voids the bid and the bid may not be opened. All questions or explanations requested by Bidders shall be submitted in writing to the Town Manager and Town Engineer in ample time to permit consideration before the bid date. Necessary replies will be issued to all bidders or recorded as Addenda and receipt thereof shall be acknowledged on the proposal. Bidders shall check with the Town prior to bid opening to secure any Addenda that may affect bidding. Oral instructions will not be given and do not form a part of the Bidding Documents. Proposals which are incomplete, unbalanced, conditional or obscure or which contain additions not called for, erasures, alterations or irregularities of any kind or which do not comply with the INFORMATION FOR BIDDERS may be rejected at the option of the Town. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to accept any bid. The Town of Nolensville may cancel this bid. The Town reserves the right to award the contract to multiple qualified bidders if the Town determines that such awards are in the best interest of the Town.
