The Project is located in Parkersburg, WV, and the Environmental Clearance Zone (ECZ) extends approximately 0.5 mile along Hwy 68 over the Little Kanawha River, northeast of Interstate 50/Robert Byrd Highway and southwest of 4th street in downtown Parkersburg. The Project Location Map (Appendix A, Figure 1), USGS Topographic Map (Appendix A, Figure 2), and Aerial Map (Appendix A, Figure 3) provide location information for the Project. The ECZ for this investigation is 9.33-acres (3.76 hectares), which is comprised primarily of urban area and includes the Little Kanawha River.
