Demolition for a road / highway in North Parkersburg, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a one-story above grade road / highway.
The structure to be demolished and removed is a dilapidated residential structure with well house/storage building. The home is older and falling apart and caving in on multiple sides and is a safety hazard. The main work of the project is to demolish and remove, in its entirety, the home structure and all of the materials within it. All demolished materials, debris, refuse, junk, and trash will need to be removed. The County Commission of Wood County is accepting sealed bids for the demolition and removal of structures, all trash, and debris within the property located at 4405 Sayre Avenue, Parkersburg, WV 26104. Detailed demolition specifications may be obtained at the Wood County Compliance Office, 1 Court Square, Room 204, Parkersburg, WV 26101, or requested by email. All sealed bids must be received in the County Administrator's Office, No. 1 Court Square, Suite 205, Parkersburg, WV 26101, with "SEALED BIDS - SAYRE AVENUE" on all envelopes. The County Commission reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids.
