Demolition and site work for a residential development in North Parkersburg, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
Structure needing demolished is located at 190 Valley Mills Road , Parkersburg WV 26104 - A twostory dilapidated old home structure which is now a large empty storage building. The building is dilapidated throughout with open access on all four sides of the structure. The structure also has an old block basement, which is failing and falling in on 2 sides . The structure was initially an old home and after many years of nonuse and very little to no maintenance, the structure has become an unstable storage structure. Large areas of the exterior walls are missing and holes exposing the interior of the structure are causing larger amounts of dilapidation. The remaining siding and framing members are failing and exposed to the weather , which results in the structure's interior members and framing to decay much quicker . The structure has open access to the roof in numerous places as well and poses a danger of collapse . The County Commission of Wood County will be accepting sealed bids for the demolition, cleanup and removal of a structure on property located at 190 Valley Mills Road, Parkersburg, WV 26104. The County Commission reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids.
