BF 07442 STANDARD BRIDGE REHABILITATION Local Road: BF 07442, SW SEC 32 TWP 57, RGE 21 W4M, Redwater River The scope of work for this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: BF 07442 The existing bridge was constructed in 1967 and consists of a three span, 31.8 m (10.1-11.6-10.1) long, type ‘HC’ concrete girder bridge on a treated timber substructure with a clear roadway width of 7.6 m. The structure is installed square to the roadway. Mobilization Traffic Accommodation for Bridge Construction Local Road Detour Girder Removal and Reinstallation Remove Pile Caps and Sub-Caps from Abutments and Piers (14 EA) Supply & Install New Caps and Sub-Caps for Abutments and Piers (14 EA) New Driven Sister H-Piles (13* EA) South Abutment - Pile 1 Pieri (North) -Piles 1,2 &5 Pier 2 (South) - Piles 1, 2, 4, 5 & 6 Pier 2 (North) -Piles 1 &2 Pier 2 (North) - Piles 3 & 4 *(Pending results of field coring - completed by Consultant) Partial Depth Concrete Repairs Consultant will confirm all locations onsite Repair Shear Cracked Girders (Full Depth Epoxy Resin) Consultant will confirm all locations onsite Miscellaneous Bridge Repairs Repair one section of guardrail (NE corner) Remove and Reinstall Bottom Three rows of Sheathing of Pier 2 (North) to expose Pile 3 and 4 Replace SE Hazard Marker (1 EA) Re-install Hazard Markers to current Standard (3 EA) Remove granular material under approach rails Replace Tin Cap at NE Wingwall (1 EA) Remove and replace girder connector bolts in Span 1 between Girders 3 & 4 and expose connector pocket for Consultant to inspect for potential replacement prior to grouting. Cut/grind smooth all bent buffer angles. Install missing bridge rail/guardrail splice bolts (7 EA) Heavy Rock Riprap, if required To be confirmed by Consultant onsite Nest Removal and/or Deterrence, if required Turbidity Monitoring, if required Fish Capture and Release, if required Portage Route and Signage, if required Clean up and Site Restoration
