Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The project will consist of road shoulder widening, ADA concrete pads, line painting, signage and associated items. The items of work are identified more specifically in the Project Specifications. The proposed work includes milling and asphalt overlay. Mobilization, preparation and clean-up, milled driveway notches, bituminous seal on all abuting pavement joints and/or curbs, erosion and sedimentation pollution control measures, and removal and disposal of excavated materials are considered incidental to all items of work A satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and acceptable surety in the amount of 10% of the Total Bid of construction shall be submitted with each bid. The SUCCESSFUL BIDDER will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. Bids may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of opening bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract.
