Renovation of a mixed-use development in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.

The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, expertise, administration, supervision, transportation, and all other necessary resources to perform the replacement of the Garage Building in accordance with the project Scope of Work, Drawings, Specifications, and all other attachments. The work will be executed under a Firm-Fixed Price contract. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns. Only verified SDVOSB firms, registered and verified in SAM, and considered small under NAICS code 236220, are eligible to submit proposals or receive an award. The Construction Cost Range for this project (Magnitude of Construction) is between $100,000.00 and $200,000.00. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Purpose: The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision and all other services and appurtenances required to remove existing four bay garage (building 4) located between building three and five and install a new garage in the same location in accordance with the specifications and requirements outline herein. The scope of work shall generally consist of, but not necessarily be limited to, providing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, permits, testing, and reports required to remove the existing four bay garage and replace with a new three bay garage. All work shall be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications. In the event of a discrepancy, the VA Specifications shall take precedence. All federal, state, and local code/regulations/standards shall be followed. 2) Location of Work: VA Medical Center 1111 East End Boulevard Wilkes-Barre, PA 18711 3) General: A. Contractor shall follow all federal, state, and local codes, regulations, and standards. All work shall be performed primarily between 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday, excluding national holidays, unless otherwise approved by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). B. Any work determined by the COR as having a significant impact on the daily operations of the facility shall be conducted on an after-hours schedule. The COR will coordinate utility outages with the hospital and associated departments affected. Major interruptions of any system must be requested, in writing, at least fourteen (14) business days prior to the desired time and shall be performed as directed by the COR. C. All work shall be performed by a qualified contractor and subcontractors.
