The work generally includes removal of existing curb sections, cold plane of the total length and width and replace. The work generally includes: A. On the Northside and Southside the cold plane will be 2" - 0" - 8' wide from curb pan toward the center of road. B. Excavate and remove then replace existing curb and gutter where marked. Contractor may haul spoils material to dump site at the Union Highland Cemetery or other site the contractor has acquired. C. Backfill excavated area with Class 6 aggregate base material and compact to minimum 95% Standard Proctor density at near optimum moisture content. No concrete shall be placed until City has verified compaction with ground probe. All excavation, backfill, and compaction shall meet the requirements of the City of Florence Street Standards. D. 2 inches of asphalt but across the full project area. E. Place 6" Schedule 40 pipe to connect laterals. F. Leveling Course where needed.
