The work consists of providing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, facilities, transportation and incidentals necessary to construct: Install approximately 6,150 L.F. of 6-inch PVC C900 potable waterline and 6,050 L.F. of 2-inch HDPE pipe with 3/4" yellow nylon pull rope. Including two (2) fire hydrant assemblies and one (1) 6-inch backflow prevention device. Trench paving shall be per the County of San Bernardino trench specifications and permit. The site of the work is located in: Lake Arrowhead, California The site address is: Forest Rte 2N13A The award of the Contract shall be made to the lowest responsive responsible bidder as determined from the base bid alone. All prospective bidders are hereby alerted that a waiting period of up to ninety (90) calendar days from time of bid opening may be required before proceedings are completed and written Notice of Award is made. Document Acquisition Notes : Copies of the plans and specifications will be mailed upon request for an additional $10.00 each to cover handling and mailing All work shall be completed within ninety (90) calendar days after the date of Contract Notice to Proceed by the District. It has been determined that the damage sustained by the District as a result of Contractor's breach of his agreement to complete work within the time agreed upon may result in damages of $1,000.00 per calendar day. District hereby reserves the right to act in the best interest of the District by rejecting any or all bids and/or to waive any irregularity in the bids.
