Renovation of a municipal facility in Barksdale AFB, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 2,145-square-foot municipal facility.

The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, supervision, and equipment and perform all operations necessary to accomplish all the work, as shown on the contract drawings, specified herein, or as needed to perform roof work to Replace Roof, Bldg. 5676, Alarm Shop. The work shall be fully complete in accordance with this Statement of Work (SOW) and other related contract documents listed in Section 1.02. The contractor must also meet Unified Facility Code (UFC) and Unified Facilities Guide Specifications (UFGS) requirements. This project is located on Barksdale AFB, LA. Bldg. 5676, (Approx. 2,145 SF). Contractor MUST verify all measurements since SOW states approximately. Demolition of all downspouts. (4 total and scuppers) (approx. 80 LF) 2. Demolition of all metal coping and replace with like material. (approx. 168 LF) 3. Demolition of conduit and comm cable going to tower not to be reinstalled. Both will stop at the entrance of Bldg and to be sealed at bldg. 4. Perform all work with tower on roof, tower will need lifted in place to perform work; tower will be painted with approved colors by base architect (Understanding not to damage horn on top of tower) the tower will be sandblasted and scraped before beginning to prime. Tower will be anchored on concrete supports and lowered to 2" walk pads on roof after new roof is installed. 5. Install insulation 1/4" fan foil and PVC single ply material over entire roof (Existing roof to remain) (PVC material will be 85% manufactured at MFG-not onsite) (Only use rolled material at certain locations) Lower roof to concrete deck is 3"; new single ply material to be installed up parapet walls to underside of new coping (approx. 2,145 SF). Insulation will be tapered to slope to drains. 6. Provide and install new roof drip edges, flashings, and accessories as required by the manufacturer's instructions. 7. Provide new coping (approx. 168 LF) will be factory finish-color and must be submitted and approved by architect (Barksdale Brown). 8. Provide and install new flashing at mechanical equipment vents. Match existing if not submit for approval. 9. Provide new downspout system with clean-outs. (provide 4 splash blocks 8" x 16") New (downspouts 80 LF approx.) Factory finish (must be submitted and approved by architect) Must patch and paint any holes that were exposed during demo for straps. MACC250016 Attachment 1 Page 1 of 7 2 of 7 a. Downspout Size: 3". x 4", Steel, galvanized, enameled, with 1-1/2" anchor straps of similar material. i. Securely anchor to masonry at top, bottom, and midpoint of length. ii. Paint Color: "Barksdale Buff", FED. STD. 595B_33690. b. Submit color samples for approval. c. Provide pre-cast concrete splash blocks at each downspout location. d. Provide gutter guards. e. Install 3 anchor points f. Install cleanouts in downspouts g. Submit Roof system using one manufacturer's materials or their approved alternatives so the final in-site product can be fully warranted by one entity.
