Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Barksdale AFB, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a swimming pool; and for the renovation of a swimming pool.
The contractor to furnish, install and test new Corning 12-strand single mode armored fiber optic cable (FOC) from building 2945 to building 2938, snack shack. In general, the scope of this project will include furnishing all materials, labor, supplies, and equipment necessary for the installation of 12-strand single-mode armored cable as outlined below. All parts and pieces to be used will be submitted for 2CS approval prior to contractor ordering. The Contractor shall provide all equipment, tools, materials, supplies, transportation, labor, supervision, management, and other incidentals necessary to meet the requirements as stated in this SOO. All equipment, supplies, and materials provided shall be new and not refurbished. All permits shall be run by contractors to include but not limited to, work clearance request, digging permits, airfield construction waiver, etc. Trim all tree limbs 10' back from roof edge on tree located at southeast corner of facility. Project shall include the furnishing of all materials, labor, and equipment necessary to repair, renovate, and bring up to code and base standards the following facilities: B2938 (bathrooms and snack shack), B2935 (pool and pool deck), B2926 (lifeguard shack), and B2925 (pump house). Work shall be performed in accordance with this Statement of Work (SOW).
