Heidelberg Township Municipal Building Improvements Contract 1 - General Construction Final questions are due no later than 12:00 p.m. on Sep 12, 2025. A final addendum, if necessary, will be issued by 3:00 p.m. on August 18, 2025 Questions Online Portal Sealed Proposals will be received online via the Program by Heidelberg Township, Lebanon County At that time, proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Township Engineer s Office, Hanover Engineering Associates, Inc., 1438 West Main Street, Suite E, Ephrata, PA 17522. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the required form, certified check, bank cashiers check, or other security acceptable to the Owner in the amount of 10% of the total Base Bid. the General Conditions, as may be modified by the Supplementary Conditions, sets forth OWNER'S requirements as to the Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100 percent (100%) of the contract price, and insurances. Heidelberg Township reserves the right at its option to waive any informalities, irregularities, defects, errors or omissions in any or all of Bids and to accept or reject any or all parts of the Bids which in its judgment is in the best interest of the Township. William Cromleigh, Secretary, Heidelberg Township Complete sets of Bidding Documents must be used in preparing Bids; neither OWNER nor ENGINEER assume any responsibility for errors or misinterpretations resulting from the use of incomplete sets of Bidding Documents. QA: No sprinkler system is required. Base Bid Work Items: 1. Item 1-1, Mobilization and Demobilization - a. Includes temporary facilities, project organization and scheduling, coordination of all contracts (Contract 2-Electrical and Contract-3 Plumbing) and attendance at pre-construction and field conferences, cleanup and restoration of site and surrounding areas. b. Eligibility for payment of this item is as follows: 1) 75% after submittal of insurance certificates, payment and performance bonds, and project construction schedule, and after implementation of temporary sanitary facilities, if any. 2) Balance after submittal of as-built documentation and maintenance bond, and after complete clean-up of work area and removal of all temporary facilities, if any. 2. Item 1-2, Bonds and Insurance a. Includes all insurance, payment, performance and maintenance bonds. b. Eligibility for payment of this item is as follows: 1) 100% after submittal of insurance certificates, payment and performance bonds, and project construction schedule, and after implementation of temporary sanitary facilities, if any. 3. Item 1-3, Demolition and removal of existing facilities as indicated on the First Floor Alterations Site Plans (A101) - a. Includes all labor, material, equipment and supervision necessary for the demolition and removal of existing facilities as indicated on the First Floor Alterations Site Plans (A101). b. Measurement: Lump Sum 4. Item 1-4, Furnish and install all proposed building components and facilities as indicated on the First Floor Alterations Site Plans (A101) - a. Includes all labor, material, equipment and supervision necessary to furnish and install all proposed building components and facilities as indicated on the First Floor Alterations Site Plans (A101). b. Includes all surface finishes for floors, walls and ceiling as shown. c. Includes installation of the doors, windows and associated hardware. d. Includes all through cleaning of improvements prior to facilities occupation by Township.
